Vinci Tab: A Tablet Designed for Toddlers

by Suzanne Kantra on January 26, 2011

Vinci TabA tablet for toddlers, that the idea behind Rullingnet’s Vinci Tab.

It’s made of non-toxic materials—including a rubberized grip that’s great for teething. And the display is made from tempered glass so it won’t break under rough handling. If the prototype I saw at CES is any indication, the design is well thought out.

The other piece of the Vinci Tab is the software that comes preloaded. There are interactive story books, music videos and locations to explore, like a park, the zoo or a room. All are meant to provide an educational experience. You can see a demo in the video.
