Get an iPhone 6S for Just $1 per Month

by Elmer Montejo on September 25, 2015

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

If you have an existing iPhone 6 and are thinking of upgrading to the latest iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, you'll want to check out Sprint's iPhone Forever lease plan.

Starting today, September 25, you can get the 16GB iPhone 6s for $1 per month and the iPhone 6s Plus for $5 per month, when you to trade-in an iPhone 6.

Sprint is also offering deal on models with more memory, again with a trade-in of an iPhone 6:

  • $5.77 monthly for the iPhone 6s 64 GB
  • $10.53 monthly for the iPhone 6s 128 GB
  • $9.77 monthly for the iPhone 6s Plus 64 GB
  • $14.53 monthly for the iPhone 6s Plus 128 GB

If you don’t have an iPhone 6 to trade in, you can avail yourself of Sprint’s $15 per month promo for the 16GB iPhone 6s when you trade in your existing fully-functional smartphone. This promo is open to all non-Sprint subscribers who wish to switch to Sprint, as well as to all existing Sprint subscribers who are eligible for upgrades. The promo ends on December 31, 2015, after which the cost will go back to its regular monthly price of $22, which doesn't require a trade-in.

You can also trade in your old iPhone 5s for an iPhone 6s 16 GB for only $10 monthly or an iPhone 6s Plus for $14 monthly at Sprint.

Earlier, T-Mobile also announced its low-price offers for the 16GB versions of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. If you have an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, you can trade it in for an iPhone 6s for only $5 monthly or an iPhone 6s Plus for only $10 monthly -- both under a JUMP! On Demand agreement. Or, if you have no iPhone to trade in, you can get a new iPhone 6s 16 GB with JUMP! On Demand for $20 monthly.

Check out all your buying option in our story on getting the best price on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. And keep in mind that the stiff competition in price deals among the carriers is expected to further drum up iPhone 6s sales during its initial weekend, possibly pushing shipping dates further.
