In June, we selected Panasonic's Z1 plasma HDTV as one of our Women's Tech Award Finalists (See Winner of the 2009 Women's Tech Award - Casio Exilim EX-FC100) for its ability to connect wirelessly to all your content sources (like cable or satellite box, Blu-ray disc player, game console). With a range of up to 30 feet, the ultra wideband wireless technology enables you to place your equipment wherever it makes sense--even in another room. Now LG is using the same wireless technology in three new LED-backed LCD HDTV models: the 55LHX, 55LH85 and 47LH85.
On the high-end is the 55-inch 55LHX. The TV is certified to THX’s high audio and video standards and has advanced features such as LED local dimming for high contrast and 240Hz refresh for preventing motion blur (the best currently available for LCD TVs). It’s also less than one-inch wide at its thinnest point. The LH85 series of LCD TVs comes in 55- and 47-inch screen sizes and features a 120Hz refresh rate.
